Very often when playing you'll start clicking and then realise (just as you're about to place the final corner) that there is a much bigger capture to be had. So I liked the ability to cancel this - using just 2 corner clicks removes it. I also thought about allowing you to select the capture area with the mouse (click / drag / ant-lines ala Photoshop). Probably should have explored that control method further.
